Origin

Grown on a mountainside most people never see.

Haitian coffee is where the Joyhouse story began. Leve Kanpe and Joyhouse Blend begin with green coffee from Three Mountains, which brings together coffees grown by three associations — Mare Blanche, Tete, and Colin — in separate high-altitude areas above Thiotte, Haiti.

Haiti was once a robust exporter of coffee around the world, but today only a small portion of its coffee crop reaches markets beyond the island. For us, continuing to roast and share Haitian coffee isn’t simply about offering another origin. It’s part of who we are.
